Anchoring, Weather and Permits

Tell us what the tent will sit on: grass, concrete, asphalt or decking. We use staking on grass and weights on hard surfaces, and need 3 to 5 feet of clear space around the tent. Plan for Bay Area weather: our tents are designed for outdoor use and handle light to moderate rain and wind when properly secured, so add sidewalls for a wet or breezy forecast and keep a backup plan for severe weather.
